Chapter Sixteen

MIA

It’s been twenty-three days since Cody walked out of my life again. I don’t let on to Trevor how hurt I really am by Cody’s leaving. It’s not Trevor’s fault, and he shouldn’t be forced to pick up the pieces. I cried my tears, and now I’m moving forward.

Things with Trevor are great. I’m falling easily into the role of his spoiled princess. He took me shopping the other day and insisted on replacing half of my wardrobe. I argued with him because I thought it silly to spend money on clothes that won’t fit me soon. He just shrugged his shoulders and said that he’d buy me more.

The frugal side of me felt the waste of it all, but the part that is quickly falling in love with Trevor feels differently. I’ve never been spoiled so much by someone, and it feels nice. I’m not talking about the new clothes or shoes; I’m talking about how he looks at me, touches me, and takes care of me like I’m something precious.

It’s a heady feeling.

Now, if only he would see that I’m ready to push forward with our relationship. I will not use what Cody has done to hold me back from what’s happening between Trevor and me.

As the clock ticks closer and closer to time to go home, I make my plans for tonight. I’m not going to take no for an answer today. He’s pushed me off for the last time. I want him. Badly.

Finally, Trevor strides into the open door of my office. I glance at the clock and see that it’s just after five. “You ready, princess?”

“Yep, just gotta grab my bag.”

I quickly log off of my computer and grab my purse from the bottom drawer of my desk. I slip my feet back into the heels that I kicked off hours ago, and I’m ready to leave.

“Your feet hurt?” he asks.

“Not really.” He gives me a look that says he doesn’t believe me. “Just a little when I’m in these heels too long,” I admit.

“You should wear flats…”

I roll my eyes. “I love my heels. I would probably take the flats off too.”

He shakes his head. “You’re a pain in the ass. You know that, right?”

I giggle. “Of course I know it. Just like I know I’ll be wearing my sexy heels again tomorrow and the next day because they make me feel good.”

“Even if they hurt your feet.”

“Even then.”

“Such a pain in the ass.”

I smile at him broadly. “Always, daddy.”

He lightly taps my ass with his palm, the threat clear. My heart rate spikes and desire floods my veins at the thought of him bending me over and spanking me… then he would slide his thick cock into me and finally—finally take me as his own.
